Project Explorer is IDE feature window offers a convenient way of accessing the the projects. Since every project consists of many files with different extensions, it is sometimes hard to find and load the desired project.
The Project Explorer enables you to do just that - to browse and explore the folders containing the project files and to easily access them.

You can hide or show this window by choosing Project Explorer from the View menu.
